Abstract
The work titled “Smart Leave Manager: Effortless Online Leave Tracking” is a web-based application designed to streamline employee leave management. This system enables users to apply for leave online by providing a valid reason, simplifying the overall process. The primary goal of this application is to develop an efficient Leave Management Tool for organizations or educational institutions. Each faculty member and student is assigned a unique ID and password to log in and submit leave requests. By digitizing leave management, this system enhances efficiency, saving both time and resources. It is accessible throughout the organization or within a designated department. The application automates leave request workflows, including approvals and periodic leave crediting. Additional features include notifications, leave cancellation, approval processes, and report generation. This system ensures a smooth and structured leave management process. The work is developed using PHP for the front endand MySQL for the back end to ensure reliability and seamless functionality.
