Abstract

In a globalized business landscape, effective human resource management (HRM) across borders has become a strategic imperative. Multinational corporations (MNCs) must not only manage diverse workforces but also align talent practices with overarching organizational goals. This chapter explores how global HRM strategies are evolving to support organizational effectiveness, cultural integration, and competitive advantage. Emphasis is placed on talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, and the integration of local responsiveness with global consistency. Through a strategic lens, this chapter discusses how HR professionals can navigate cultural, legal, and political differences while maintaining alignment with corporate values and goals. The discussion includes the use of digital HR tools, cross-cultural leadership, and international mobility programs. The chapter concludes with best practices for aligning global talent strategies with business objectives, emphasizing adaptability, agility, and strategic foresight in international HRM.
