Abstract

This study examines and compares the problems faced by students appearing for competitive examinations. In today’s competitive environment, students encounter various challenges such as academic pressure, stress, financial constraints, lack of guidance, and poor time management. The research aims to analyze these issues across different student groups based on factors like age, gender, occupation, and family income. The study is based on primary data collected through a structured questionnaire, along with secondary data from articles and reports. The findings indicate that stress, intense competition, and lack of proper planning are the most common problems among students. Financial difficulties and limited access to quality coaching also significantly impact their preparation. The study emphasizes the importance of proper guidance, affordable educational resources, and mental health support for aspirants. It provides valuable insights into the challenges faced by students and suggests measures to reduce these difficulties. Overall, the research aims to help students improve their performance and successfully achieve their career goals.
