Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most influential technological advancements in the modern educational landscape. The integration of AI into higher education has significantly transformed traditional teaching methods, learning environments, assessment practices, and academic administration. Educational institutions across the world are increasingly adopting AI-driven technologies to improve institutional efficiency, enhance student engagement, and provide personalized learning experiences. This research paper examines the role of Artificial Intelligence in higher education and analyzes its impact on teaching, learning, evaluation, and administrative functions. The study highlights various AI applications such as intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, automated grading systems, virtual learning assistants, plagiarism detection tools, and predictive analytics. These technologies contribute toward creating flexible, student-centered, and data-driven educational systems. AI enables educators to identify student learning patterns, monitor academic progress, and provide customized support to learners. Furthermore, administrative departments use AI for student admissions, timetable management, attendance tracking, and institutional decision-making. The research is based on secondary data collected from academic journals, books, research articles, institutional reports, and online educational databases.
