Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has radically changed the educational industry, changing the way teaching, learning, and classroom management are done in today’s classrooms. In this research paper, the opportunities, applications and accessibility of AI in the field of education, as well as challenges faced by educators in the modern classroom, is examined. The study is conducted in a mixed-method research design in which quantitative data about educational applications of AI tools and learning outcomes are complemented by qualitative data obtained by conducting structured interviews with teachers and students. The results showed that AI integration has led to improvements in personalized learning, automated assessments, student engagement, and administrative efficiency, but also raised some concerns in terms of student data privacy, digital divide, ethics, and the role of teachers. However, the potential of AI in education is not lost, as it has already made a significant impact in making education more accessible through adaptive learning platforms, real-time feedback mechanisms, and innovative teaching strategies that cater to a wide range of learning styles. Educators view AI as a tool to improve teaching efficiency, while students see it as a way to receive personalized learning support. The paper provides policy recommendations for responsible AI implementation through digital infrastructure, teacher training, ethical standards, and regulatory frameworks. By exploring how AI can impact today’s classrooms, this study offers a glimpse into the transformative power of AI in the education sector, highlighting its capacity to enhance efficiency, inclusion, and learning outcomes while preserving the importance of human educators. The results provide valuable insights for the broader body of knowledge on educational technologies and their adoption to foster sustainable and responsible use of AI across various educational contexts.
