Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming legal research and contract analysis by enabling faster information retrieval, automated document review, and efficient identification of relevant legal provisions. AI-powered tools can analyze large volumes of case laws, statutes, regulations, and legal documents, helping legal professionals locate relevant information with greater accuracy and reduced effort. In contract analysis, AI can identify important clauses, detect inconsistencies, highlight potential risks, and support compliance monitoring. Natural language processing and machine learning techniques further enable systems to interpret legal language and extract meaningful information from complex documents. These applications can improve productivity, reduce routine manual work, and support more consistent legal decision-making. However, challenges related to data privacy, algorithmic bias, accuracy, explainability, and professional accountability must be carefully addressed. The practical adoption of AI therefore requires appropriate human oversight, reliable legal data, and ethical standards. Overall, AI offers significant opportunities to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of legal research and contract management.
