Abstract

A computer network is a collection of interconnected devices (such as computers, servers, printers, and routers) that can communicate with each other and share resources. Networks can be local (within a single building or campus) or wide (spanning multiple locations), wired or wireless, and can use a variety of protocols and technologies to enable communication. Networks are important because they enable communication and collaboration between devices and users, making it easier to share information, resources, and services. Networks can also improve productivity, efficiency, and security, and enable new applications and services.
