Abstract:
Food quality is a crucial factor for the health and well-being of individuals. In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for high-quality and safe food products, and this trend is expected to continue. However, ensuring food quality is a challenging task, with many factors that can affect it, such as contamination, spoilage, and mishandling during production, processing, transportation, and storage. The challenges faced in ensuring food quality are numerous, and traditional methods of food quality control can be time-consuming, expensive, and prone to human error. In addition, the complexity and diversity of the food supply chain make it difficult to trace and track food products from farm to table, making it hard to detect and prevent issues that may arise along the way. To overcome these challenges, the food industry is turning to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies. AI can help ensure that the food we consume is of the highest quality by automating the process of quality control, making it faster and more accurate.
