Abstract:

One important aspect of good leadership is the leader’s capacity to express the goals of the team. The goals, requirements, and grievances of team members may be better understood and addressed with its help. In addition to increasing productivity and efficiency, leaders whose communication skills are strong are able to establish reliable connections with their employees. In order to be an effective leader, you must treat your employees with dignity and respect and seek their opinions before making any big choices. Many employees have lost loved ones in the recent pandemic, and they are also mourning the loss of their jobs. So, in the aftermath of the outbreak, it is essential to hire people who can adjust to unexpected circumstances. When it comes to conveying ideas and information, language is king. Words like “communication” and “communicare,” which mean “to share” in Latin, have their roots in the same primordial root. Language isn’t only about words; nonverbal clues like body language, gestures, and posture are just as important. The cornerstone of effective communication is active listening free from making assumptions, passing judgement, or laying blame. Because bringing our own opinions in could be misconstrued as criticism, it is essential to observe things objectively.
