Abstract
Nanotechnology refers to the division of science and engineering devoted to designing, manufacturing, and using structures, devices, and systems by manipulating atoms and molecules at the nanoscale, i.e. having one or more dimensions of the order of 100 nanometres (100 millionth of a millimetre) or less. Nanoparticles have fascinating physicochemical properties, such as ordered configuration with elevated aspect ratio, ultra-lightweight, high mechanical potency, high electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, metallic or semi-metallic performance and high surface area. It is expected that nanoparticles would easily aggregate because of the magnetic properties of nanoparticles themselves, so most of the particles exist in chain-like aggregates.
