Abstract

Part of India’s broader Digital India initiative, the Digital Bharat program aims to transform the nation into an information-based economy and society that is supported by digital technology. Examining how Digital Bharat has changed employment trends and skill sets is the main goal of this study. This article delves at the ways in which the rise of digital technology is changing traditional occupations, opening up new ones, and forcing the Indian worker to upskill. Along with this, the paper delves into the challenges posed by AI and automation in the job market and offers many solutions to halt the exodus of workers.
