Abstract:
Taking into account the country’s demographic and cultural diversity, the chapter emphasises the strengths and weaknesses of the current educational system. The effects of digital transformation, AI, and ML on educational technology integration are the subject of much discussion. Additionally, the chapter explores programmes that promote lifelong learning and inclusivity, touching on topics such as accessibility, educational inequality between urban and rural areas, and the incorporation of vocational training. Examining competency-based exams and the impact of technology on grading, this article delves into current trends in assessment and evaluation. We look at new policies and regulations, new government programmes and reforms, and the possibilities and threats that they bring to various groups. Education is shaped by cultural and social factors, with a focus on how society expectations and cultural transitions have a role.
