Abstract
Wearable technology in healthcare has rapidly evolved, offering innovative solutions for monitoring, diagnosing, and managing various health conditions. These devices, including smartwatches, biosensors, and fitness trackers, provide real-time physiological data, enhancing personalized medicine and preventive healthcare. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) further strengthens the role of wearables in early disease detection, chronic disease management, and remote patient monitoring. Current trends indicate a growing adoption of wearable health devices for cardiovascular health, diabetes management, and mental well-being. However, challenges such as data privacy, accuracy, regulatory compliance, and integration with existing healthcare systems persist. Future possibilities involve advancements in nanotechnology, biocompatible sensors, and AI-driven predictive analytics, which could revolutionize disease prevention and treatment. As the healthcare industry moves towards digital transformation, wearable technology is expected to play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes, reducing healthcare costs, and facilitating remote and decentralized care.
