Learning Objectives
This chapter seeks to examine the pivotal role of leadership in facilitating organisational change within Indian higher education institutions. The main learning objectives are to comprehend various leadership styles such as transformational, transactional, participative, and strategic; analyse the difficulties and possibilities in implementing change; assess the influence of leadership on the success of change; study case examples of successful change initiatives in institutions like IIT Delhi and JNU; and evaluate future trends such as digital transformation and international collaborations.
