Abstract

The use of online shopping sites such as Amazon and Flipkart continually expanding at an extremely fast pace, changing consumer behaviour negatively and positively through its impact on environmental issues such as carbon footprint. In order to achieve the sustainable development goal “Responsible Consumption and Production,” steps must be taken to address these challenges.

AI has the ability to assist with the solutions to these challenges; however, in the current literature on AI’s ability to be utilised to support productivity enhancements, the potential of AI’s ability to assist countries with meeting all of their sustainability development goals is lacking.
