Abstract
In business, occasionally crucial decisions must be made, and decision analysis (DA) is a methodical, quantitative, and graphical method for doing so. Tactical decision-making is aided by the insights into sales data, manufacturing data, and supply chain data that Business analytics may give. Front-line managers and employees may benefit from business analytics at the operational level. Describing, analysing, predicting, and prescribing are the four most common forms of business analytics. This chapter explores the role of business analytics in making sound business judgements.
