Abstract:
By establishing a set of measurable, short-term goals that the company and its workers will strive to meet in the near future, management by objectives (MBO) allows managers to exert more influence over their staff. Management by goals is not without its criticisms. Because they have more clarity, workers are more motivated to aim for set objectives, which is the most essential advantage. The current chapter delves into Management may start to zero down on only the areas where MBO makes sense, which is the biggest drawback.
