Abstract

In recent decades, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has evolved from a philanthropic activity into a strategic component of corporate governance and sustainability management. Organizations are increasingly expected to address social, environmental, and ethical responsibilities alongside financial performance. This shift has been further accelerated by global sustainability agendas and stakeholder expectations regarding transparency, accountability, and responsible business practices. As corporations expand their social commitments, the mechanisms used to measure, monitor, and communicate CSR activities have also undergone significant transformation. The rapid advancement of digital technologies has introduced new opportunities for enhancing CSR governance and reporting. Among these technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool capable of improving data collection, analysis, and decision-making processes within organizations. AI-enabled systems can process large volumes of sustainability data, automate reporting processes, and generate insights that improve corporate transparency and operational efficiency.
