Abstract

The Management education in India has witnessed significant evolution in recent years, driven by globalization, technological advancements, and the changing needs of the corporate world. Traditionally dominated by a few elite institutions, the landscape of management education is expanding, with a growing emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and global perspectives. Indian business schools are increasingly focusing on developing well-rounded leaders who can navigate the complexities of the modern business environment. The rise of online learning, hybrid programs, and global collaborations has further transformed the sector, making management education more accessible and flexible. Additionally, industry partnerships, corporate governance, and sustainability are becoming integral components of management curricula. However, challenges such as ensuring the quality of education, addressing the skill gap, and keeping up with the rapid pace of technological changes remain. This chapter explores the key emerging trends in Indian management education, the role of technological advancements in reshaping educational delivery, and the strategies business schools are adopting to produce skilled professionals who can lead organizations in a globalized, technology-driven economy.
