Abstract
This study examines the financial resilience and governance challenges of Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) operating in the financial services sector of Mumbai’s western suburbs. Drawing upon data from 153 LLPs across diverse service segments, the research evaluates key financial indicators, regulatory compliance, corporate governance practices, and geographical influences. The analysis highlights that profitability measures such as gross profit margins, along with compliance and governance frameworks, play a decisive role in shaping financial stability. Respondent demographics—predominantly professionals aged 25–35 with 5–10 years of experience—further underscore the sector’s reliance on youthful yet experienced talent pools. The findings reveal that timely regulatory compliance and adherence to governance practices are widely perceived as vital for sustaining LLPs, with over 70% of respondents strongly agreeing on their importance. However, challenges persist in the form of geographical constraints, uneven income distribution, and sector-specific vulnerabilities. The study concludes that while LLPs offer flexibility and resilience as a hybrid organizational model, their long-term sustainability depends on strengthening compliance mechanisms, enhancing governance structures, and addressing regional disparities. These insights provide valuable guidance for policymakers, regulators, and stakeholders seeking to foster financial stability and resilience in LLPs
