Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in digital education, enabling the development of personalized learning environments that adapt to the unique needs, abilities, and learning preferences of individual students. Traditional educational approaches often follow a standardized model that may not effectively address diverse learner requirements. AI-powered educational platforms overcome these limitations by utilizing machine learning algorithms, data analytics, natural language processing, and intelligent tutoring systems to provide customized learning experiences. These technologies continuously analyze learner behavior, performance, engagement levels, and progress to recommend suitable learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies. Personalized learning supported by AI enhances student engagement, improves knowledge retention, and promotes self-paced learning while reducing learning gaps. Furthermore, AI-driven systems offer real-time feedback, predictive analytics for identifying at-risk learners, and automated content generation that supports both educators and students. Despite its significant advantages, challenges such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, infrastructure requirements, and ethical concerns must be addressed to ensure equitable and effective implementation. This study explores the role of AI in personalizing digital education platforms, examines its practical applications, benefits, challenges, and future prospects, and highlights how AI can contribute to creating more adaptive, inclusive, and efficient learning ecosystems.
