Abstract
Sustainable business practices have become increasingly important in the modern global economy due to rising environmental concerns, climate change, pollution, and depletion of natural resources. Businesses across the world are gradually shifting from traditional profit-oriented models toward sustainable and environmentally responsible operational strategies. This research paper examines the significance of sustainable business practices and green entrepreneurship in promoting environmental conservation, social responsibility, and long-term economic development. The study explores how organizations integrate sustainability into their operational frameworks through renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, eco-friendly manufacturing, green supply chain management, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. It highlights the growing role of green entrepreneurship in encouraging innovation and creating environmentally sustainable products and services. Green entrepreneurs contribute significantly toward solving environmental challenges by developing business models that prioritize resource efficiency and ecological balance. The paper also examines the challenges associated with implementing sustainable business practices, including financial constraints, technological limitations, lack of policy support, regulatory complexities, and resistance to organizational change. The research is based on secondary data collected from journals, books, sustainability reports, government publications, research articles, and case studies related to sustainable development and green business practices. Analytical and descriptive techniques were used to examine sustainability trends across industries. The study concludes that sustainable business practices not only protect the environment but also improve organizational reputation, customer trust, market competitiveness, and long-term profitability. Businesses that integrate sustainability into their strategic planning can contribute positively toward achieving global sustainable development goals while ensuring economic growth and social welfare.
