Abstract:
In the swiftly evolving digital landscape, personal data has become a valuable currency. Individuals, businesses, and governments exchange huge amounts of personal information, ranging from sensitive financial data to personal preferences. As the importance of safeguarding this data becomes increasingly evident, governments worldwide are taking steps to establish thorough frameworks for data protection. India has joined this global movement with the introduction of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act in the parliament in August 2023.
